PLANNING & ZONING - General Info
Welcome to the City of Waverly's Planning & Zoning Division. The Community Development and Zoning Official reviews and enforces zoning and floodplain development regulations; reviews zoning and subdivision requests; and performs municipal code enforcement.
The Community Development and Zoning Official also provides the following services: -
Help determine zoning classification for parcels within City limits -
Assist in limited ways to understand property dimensions -
Issue Home Occupation Permits -
Issue Open Burning Permits -
Review site plans for proposed building construction -
Issue Sign Permits -
Offer flood plain assistance in determining applicable zones and standards -
Respond to nuisances -
