Because her latest book, OUR CUP OF BLESSING is set in 1925, Charlene Mikkelsen, local author of four historical fictions, has invited the Lindy Ladies to dance their favorite dance of the twenties. Join the fun, June 23 at 7pm and visit with the author and the Lindy Ladies, learn the steps (if you dare) and enjoy the music that enlivened America in the twenties. Charlene Mikkelsen, of Denver, Iowa, recently announced the release of her latest novel, OUR CUP OF BLESSING, an emotionally charged account of the dynamics of WWII and the Holocaust, as realized through the life of a young woman from Niles Centre, Illinois. Love, mystery and historical realities will transport the reader to a war that will never end!

Local author, Barbara Harken will also be present. She will read selections from her novel, 86^th Degree. Books will be available for purchase and autographs.
