The Waverly Area is located in northeast Iowa, approximately 80 miles west of the Mississippi River and 60 miles south of the Iowa/Minnesota border. The area is made up of 9 communities with a combined population of 24,276.

Waverly, located on the banks of the scenic Cedar River, is the largest city in the Waverly Area with a population of 9,874 and also serves as the County Seat of Bremer County. Strategically located to provide your business with abundant interstate, regional and local highway access, Waverly is an Avenue of the Saints Community (Hwy 218/27), connecting St. Paul with St. Louis. Our 4-lane highway system will take you to I-380 (20 miles), then to I-80 connecting New York with San Francisco. The Waverly Area also offers rail service as well as convenient access to local, regional and international air service.
