Façade Improvement Grant
The Waverly Chamber of Commerce provides financial incentives to property owners and businesses to assist in restoring and rehabilitating storefronts. In addition to financial assistance, free technical assistance is provided by Main Street Iowa's design team.
The grant can equal but not exceed 50 percent of the total project cost. For 2013, total available grant funding is $2,000. Multiple projects may be granted from this pool with a minimum award of $500 for each grantee. The Design and Beautification Committee carefully examines applications to determine which project(s) will most contribute to the overall design and quality of the community and award dollars accordingly.
Applicants must be Business Investors in good standing in the Waverly Chamber of Commerce organization. Applications are currently being accepted for 2013 funding. Deadline to apply is May 31, 2013.
