About the Chamber

The Waverly Chamber of Commerce is a volunteer-driven organization that encompasses all functions of the Chamber of Commerce, Main Street Program, and Tourism. The Chamber's success is made possible through the financial commitment and tireless dedication of hundreds of businesses and individuals working to strengthen the economic vitality and standard of living in the Waverly area. 

Mission

The Waverly Chamber of Commerce seeks to develop and sustain dynamic, progressive programs to support the economic environment for our businesses and provide an overall quality experience for residents and visitors as they shop and visit the Waverly community.

Purpose

The purpose of the organization is to advance the commercial, industrial, civic, and general interests of the city of Waverly and its trade areas.  The organization encompasses all functions of the Chamber of Commerce, Main Street Program, and Tourism.  The organization serves a variety of communities within the Waverly area. A six-point approach will be maintained as the basis for policy development, implementation, and evaluation within the organization. 

The six points are:

1) Retail-Promotions

2) Main Street Development

3) Membership Development

4) Design

5) Tourism

6) Marketing. 

All areas of the six points shall have committees and committee chairs. In addition to the six points, there will also be a Special Project Committee and committee chair.
